Off the back of the stratospheric success of the original R8 Audi revealed to the public a stunning facelifted version of the R8 in the Autumn of 2012. Changes included a single frame grille, standard LED headlights across all models, replacing the R-Tronic automated manual transmission with the 7-speed S-Tronic dual-clutch transmission, adaptive damping, electronically adjustable sports seats and finally the addition of the flagship R8 V10 plus.
The R8 V10 plus included carbon exterior elements, an uprated 550PS V10, ceramic brakes and standard bucket seats.
