Essentially a reboot of the successful 308 GTB/GTS/GTBI/GTSI, the Ferrari 328 GTB/GTS & 308 QV benefited from minor bodywork changes to improve the aerodynamics, and also tipped its hat to the late-1980s fashion for colour-coding the trim and bodywork. So you could say it was the reddest Ferrari ever. The 328 GTB/GTS & 308 QV is commonly regarded as one of the easiest Ferraris to own and live with, thanks to most of the mechanics being relatively easy to access.
As part of a 1988 update, the 328 GTB/GTS & 308 QV acquired an anti-lock braking system which also necessitated changes to the wheel design. As had become customary for Ferrari, the 328 GTB/GTS & 308 QV was offered as a fixed-roof (328 GTB/GTS & 308 QVGTB) and a targa-top (328 GTB/GTS & 308 QVGTS) coupe, although among its well-heeled buyers, people choosing the removable roof model outnumbered those opting for the conventional roof by five to one.
