Overview
Ferrari does not affix its legendary M suffix lightly, and the Portofino M is no exception. The “Modificata” version of its wildly successful 2+2 GT Convertible features a slew of full fat F Car design features, including a new 8-speed Dual Clutch Transmission and a 5 position Manettino. Power was increased by 20CV to 620CV thanks to new cam profiles and a turbocharger turbine rev speed sensor.
A redesigned front bumper features new air intakes and vents, as well as new horizontal aluminium slats in the front grille. A new set of Portofino M specific wheels were also offered.
Sadly, this is the first variant of Ferrari’s 2+2 convertible to feature the Gasoline Particulate Filter, which has made it significantly quieter than the Cali T and Portofino base before it. Ferrari have removed the rear silencer assemblies in their entirety (as with the Roma) in an effort to reclaim some of the lost sound, but owners may still be left wanting!
