Overview
Debuting in late 2013, the Huracan was Lamborghini’s replacement for the V10 staple of it’s stable, the Gallardo. The car has been developed extensively into no less than 7 different variants, most available in either coupe or convertible guise. The zenith of this bloodline, however, is the fearsome Huracan STO.
The Huracan STO is arguably Lamborghini’s most track focused offering in its history – featuring a 75% carbon fibre body, a rear wing lifted straight from a light aircraft and a roof intake for engine cooling, the car has clearly been developed from Lamborghini’s learnings during their running of their seminal Super Trofeo race cars.
The power output is identical to the Performante and Evo at 631hp; the car also boasts rear wheel drive, rear wheel steering and Formula 1 inspired CCMR brakes.
