Overview
Hewn from the same stunning materials as the 720S, the 765LT Coupe/Spider took the 675LT’s place in the McLaren family of track-focused supercars. The car brought on board major changes seen in the Senna, the third model to join McLaren’s ‘Ultimate’ stable after the F1 and P1. These include a bigger fuel pump and stronger yet lighter forged aluminium pistons. Aerodynamically, downforce is up by 25 per cent over the 720S, while overall weight is reduced by 80kg. So the 755bhp engine powers the 765LT Coupe/Spider to 100kmh in 2.8 seconds.
