The W177 chassis A-Class is the fourth generation of Mercedes’ hatchback which first debuted in 2018.
The A45 4MATIC+ and A45 S 4MATIC+ produce 382hp and (a scarcely believable) 416hp, respectively. The M139 engine found in both variants is an inline 4, twin scroll turbocharged unit. The engine in “S” spec is the highest power-output series-production 4 cylinder engine in the world, with a specific output of 208hp per litre, or 104hp per cylinder.
