Of all the configurations of Mercedes cars available, the SL Class represents the one most people would probably want to park in their fantasy garage. It straddles the line between open-top sports car and grand tourer with lots of style, with the bonus that the rear-wheel drive and excellent suspension also make it entertaining to drive. Three models, the SL400, SL500 and AMG SL, make up the range, all with rear-wheel drive and engines that send massive amounts of power through to those back wheels.
