A long line of Aston Martins can trace their lineage back to the DB4 Zagato, the seminal collaboration between the British sports car maker and the Italian coachbuilding company from whom the second half of the name comes. But while both the modern Vanquish and Vantage were the result of this co-operation, the former was intended to be far more aggressive than the DB7 Vantage. Available as a 2+2 and as a pure two-seater, the Vanquish features underpinnings which came out of a collaboration with Lotus, a sophisticated independent suspension, and the 5.9-litre V12 engine first seen in the DB7 Vantage.

The powertrain, chassis, advanced engineering, and design of the Vanquish were almost universally lauded. Autocar summed up the attributes of the Vanquish thus: "a tightly wrapped parcel containing high-speed stability, quick and uncorrupted steering and top-class levels of grip, chassis balance and brake retardation, all of them deployed through quick-acting and easily modulated controls". The Vanquish S followed between 2004 and 2007, and fittingly, the last of this model was the final one produced at the Newport Pagnell factory, which closed just before it could celebrate its 50th anniversary.

The second-generation Vanquish saw production transferred to Gaydon, and a year after this car's launch, a convertible version, the Vanquish Volante, broke cover. Auto Express expressed its love for the Vanquish thus: "However you look at it, the Aston Martin Vanquish is a tour de force", and the fact that models could be almost infinitely customised to the individual customer's wishes means it's a highly distinctive, as well as a desirable car.

Excellent service and incredibly fast delivery! I recently purchased an LH window regulator from Scuderia Car Parts and had a great experience. The ordering process was easy, and I was very impressed with how quickly they processed and shipped my order. I’m located in Canada, and the part was sent via express delivery and arrived much faster than I expected. Everything was handled efficiently from purchase to delivery. Very happy with the service and overall experience. I would definitely order from Scuderia Car Parts again and highly recommend them, especially if you’re looking for genuine or hard-to-find car parts with fast international shipping.

I enjoy buying quality parts for my luxury car, there is a peace of mind that I get from purchasing through Scuderia. Some parts are sourced from other countries and Scuderia does a good job in my opinion to get the part from suppliers to me as quickly as they can.
