Poor Ferrari. Whenever it comes up with a model that doesn't have sharply swooping lines and the appeal on the eye of a just-landed spaceship, it's damned for selling out, and losing its soul. Yet no car company can survive purely by playing 'fantasy build a supercar', without at least occasionally having to ask its customers what they really want. So for those Prancing Horse aficionados who love the badge, but would rather it went on the front of something family-friendly, it gave us the FF. Taking the 612's place in the line-up, the FF is a four-seater with enough room for a full family and their luggage, the latter easy to stow and reach thanks to a wide and deep hatchback body.

But if you thought this was a Ferrari to pave your way into a life of pipe and slippers, the 6.2-litre lump at the front was meant to convince you otherwise. A new direct-injection engine, it has 642bhp on tap, fed through a seven-speed, dual-clutch gearbox, the power going down to all four wheels to keep it firmly planted at all times. The FF name came from the combination of this latter factor, plus of course, that it is a full four-seater. The question no one knew the answer to on its launch was the obvious one - just who would want to choose a Ferrari with four-wheel drive and enough space to swallow the whole family and its luggage?

Then there was the novel all-wheel drive system which, rather than having a centre differential to work out which wheels to apply the power to depending on driving style and under-foot conditions - although only bringing the front ones to bear for short periods when things get a bit slippery. The lack of the differential saved considerable weight over a regular four-wheel drive set-up, so the FF was just as nimble as its rear wheels-powered only brethren. Where the FF scored in critics' eyes was its lack of any direct competitor, its combination of interior space and the safety offered by its all-wheel drive meant "it's impossible not to be impressed by what Ferrari has achieved," argued Autocar. Possibly an ultimate niche Ferrari, the FF did nevertheless find favour in some quarters. If you're running one today, we here at Scuderia Car Parts stand ready to help you keep it running smoothly, and doing what it does best.

Trust Scuderia Car Parts when you need original Ferrari FF parts

A Ferrari as different, yet with as much potential day-to-day usability as the FF is sure to be far more than just a curio. That it looks so unlike any other Maranello car is bound to pique the interest of anyone who finds the beaten path far too predictable. Then again, because it's of such niche interest among Ferrari fans, keeping your FF in tip-top order is the main way to convince Grand Tourer fans that it's worth so much more than just its curiosity value.

If you find this car your cup of latte, then you'll find no shortage of excuses to want to exploit all its talents. And for the times when that means long-distance cruising, keeping it properly maintained using the best parts will be a wise move. Talk to us at Scuderia Car Parts to help you find, then buy direct, the Ferrari parts which will keep your FF running without it missing a beat. We're true aficionados of everything Ferrari, with an in-depth knowledge of keeping them in perfect order. We'll give you as much - or as little - guidance as you need to find the parts for Ferrari FF cars which will ensure that its name continues to stand for 'family fun', and not for something altogether less flippin' complimentary.

Excellent service and incredibly fast delivery! I recently purchased an LH window regulator from Scuderia Car Parts and had a great experience. The ordering process was easy, and I was very impressed with how quickly they processed and shipped my order. I’m located in Canada, and the part was sent via express delivery and arrived much faster than I expected. Everything was handled efficiently from purchase to delivery. Very happy with the service and overall experience. I would definitely order from Scuderia Car Parts again and highly recommend them, especially if you’re looking for genuine or hard-to-find car parts with fast international shipping.

I enjoy buying quality parts for my luxury car, there is a peace of mind that I get from purchasing through Scuderia. Some parts are sourced from other countries and Scuderia does a good job in my opinion to get the part from suppliers to me as quickly as they can.
